This typographic print muses on the Open Submission practice that artists and writers often put themselves through. An Open Submission, which usually involves the payment of an entry a fee, is the action of presenting a proposal, artwork, novel or other document for consideration or judgement. Having submitted work and paid a fee, the rejection often feels rather harsh: Dear Applicant, unfortunately your work has not been selected for exhibition.

Description

My prints are produced to the highest standards using fine art paper stock. The natural white paper works beautifully with long lasting, vibrant (archival) inks and gives the prints great depth and quality. Colours may slightly vary due the variable settings on monitor screens, laptops, tablets and smart phones.

All items are packaged carefully to ensure they arrive in perfect condition and are sent in sturdy protective postal tubes. Smaller custom print requests will come in flat card-backed envelopes. All prints  come in a polypropylene sleeve for added protection.
